Introduction: Welcome to Ramena Beach

Ramena Beach is a tropical paradise located at the northern tip of Madagascar, near Antsiranana (known during colonial times as Diego Suarez). It is famous for its serenity, vibrant marine life, and welcoming people. I visited the place whilst on official business on the recent celebration of World AIDS Day, 1st December 2024, whereby the national commemoration took place here in Antsiranana.
